yep ice bath. then a hot hot bath after. pulls the out blood to the surface and allows new blood to rush in with the new nutrients.

Also I find that a ride on my air bike the next day helps a ton.

Came here to post this. You can do this in a bath tub too. Just cold tap water and refill and freeze water bottles and jugs. Toss them in.
