Anyone else distancing themselves from IPA's as you age? I don't see the allure of them like I did 8-10 years ago. I know taste buds change, so there's that.

I prefer sours to IPAs, but it's harder to find good sours than it is to find good IPAs, in south Louisiana.

I do still like IPAs, though.

Somewhat. I prefer the doubles and triples now more than the reg IPA.

A little, but it has more to do with the increased availability of them. Here in Alabama, it's only been since 2008 that we could even buy quality high gravity beers.

But when I go to the beer store, the IPA and porter/stout aisles are still the only ones I really hit. Maybe the sours aisle, though I've found those to be really hit or miss. Some are outstanding, some are barely drinkable.

Like women, I only distance myself as they age.............................hope ms. zappa doesn't see this.
