Same job/profession, house, kids, wife, salary (commensurate with cost of living where you would be moving)?

If so, where would you move?

What is the most white, conservative place in the country? That's where I want to go.

Yes and we probably will at some point. Trying to get the kids through school first if we can.

I've lived in New Orleans for the last six years. It will be so difficult for me, when I move, to get used to not being able to walk into a bar buy a beer and walk out. Not looking forward to that

Yes. Eastern Tennessee/Western NC, Idaho or Montana. I hate the damn 7 months of heat here.

The most difficult one of these is the house since it can't physically move. Most jobs out of LA pay more, are more plentiful, and other states have better schools etc.

If you added friends and relatives then it gets tricky, but with the above people should have already moved.

Niceville, FL or Katy, TX area

Far enough away from the local politics and culcha, but close enough to drive back to visit when I want

Destin or Denver if I'm rich.

Dallas or LA if I'm not.

I could move and get all of that listed in the OP very easily. I love south La and love being walking distance from family.
It be what it be.
