But it's Appleton.

Not Ron Zacapa. Not Diplomatico. Not Plantation. Not even Zaya, IMO.

It's a very average 12 year, with a sweeter TN whiskey flavor (think Bayou Rum) than a sipping rum flavor. JMO.

Since ya asked the question ya dont know so do like ya do with anything ya not sure about. pour ya self a shot and taste it roll it across ya tongue and wait for the flavor. Then decide there is no wrong answer only different and ya decide what ya like. Some rum is fortified with grain and the wife is gluten intolerant, so we go with Bacardi gold guaranteed to be gluten free for our house rum. I like all rums and bourbons cold but not over ice. Course das just me.

I know not a whole lot about rum - is this a good list to start working from?
