Little secret: Pub accommodations have improved to an amazing quality. These are historical rooms above pubs, some with a separate side entrance, and most in London proper have been done up incredibly well. It's a great vibe, and my GF and I have been to many of them now since we go to London once every few weeks, and no noise problems.

Prices are usually under 300 GBP

The Hand and Flower

The Grazing Goat

I really liked the London edition when I stayed there.
