Lee made a pro roster JJ didn't last half a day

Lee got signed by the chargers and then cut before the season. Jj signed with Tampa and was cut before the season.

Lee didn't sign with a cfl team until 2014 and then got cut before the season.

JJ signed with a CFL team in 2012 then was cut when he and tm7 got arrested. JJ then started for the Pittsburg power, and the omaha mammoths.

So, JJs pro career at QB was actually longer.

Arena football is not a step up in level of competition from college. Lee had a better winning pct at LSU than JJ plus he was responsible for a lot of wins JJ has on his resume constantly coming in relief to win games JJ started throughout their careers. He also led the SEC in passer rating his Sr. Season something JJ never came close to doing. Anyone who knows football knows Lee was a much better QB than Jefferson. Having said that Mettenberger should've been the starter in 2011 multiple players from that team including a QB have told me Mett was the best QB on that roster by a wide margin.

Jefferson was successful in 9-6 because Bama had not prepared at all for a running QB.

If you didn't know anything else about Saban, you knew that he wasn't going to allow the same game plan to beat him twice.

Personally, I felt like Lee should have played the 2nd half of the NC - Bama was so dialed in on JJ that Lee may have caught them off guard.

Miles couldn't see his a-hole if it was wrapped around his neck. Luckiest dumbass in the history of college football

Great Tiger, but career stats disagree (slightly), and well below JJ vs elite defenses.

Well Lee had a lot of relief appearances vs elite teams while JJs were mop up appearances save 1. Lees winning pct is better and If you compare their starting numbers Lee is far ahead of JJ in every catagory except 1 plus when you factor in bad games (less than 100 yards) JJ had way more of those on avg too. When you look at the 2011 season Lee was the reason we made it through that schedule there's noway JJ wins the West Virginia or Miss St. game so besides Alabama I don't see where JJ beat better opponents.

Their stats as starters
Lee
216/381 57% 2,766yards 23tds 17ints 162.7ypg 7.26ypa 128.9 passer rating 14-3 record 82.4% winning pct

JJ
384/634 60.6% 4,538yards 32tds 21ints 141.8ypg 7.15ypa 121.2 passer rating 24-8 record 75% winning pct

The winning pct jumps out the most especially when you consider Lee had to come in and win a lot of JJs starts. Plus you have JJ with 11 games where he failed to reach 100 yards passing in 32 starts that's 1/3 of his games while Lee failed to reach 100 yards only 3 times in 17 starts.

Not sure bout the rest of your stats, but Lee is 14-4 and his 126.1 career RAT is below Jefferson's 127.8
JJ

Lee

No need to make stuff up to knight for a couple mediocre QBs that signed almost a decade ago.

I hate this excuse because...

quote:

If you didn't know anything else about Saban

you know he's supposed to be the type of coach that preps his team for anything. so why wouldn't he prep them for Jefferson, who had been getting snaps in all 4 of the games prior to Bama, primarily running the ball. not to mention Jefferson was the starting QB that had beaten Bama in 2010, and had us in the lead in 09 when he went out with the injury. Nick knew Jordan was coming.

Lee had a terrible history vs Bama and with OL fail it would've gotten ugly real quick IMO.

frick Lee. He cost us numerous games in 2008

Our defense had a hard time stopping running water in 2008.
Oh yeah, we was also RS freshman.
We don't win the 2010 UF game or Tennessee game without him.
Lee redeemed himself in 2011 and anyone who says otherwise is an assclown.

Was watching highlights of the 2011 game of the century, and it seems Jefferson makes some crucial moves on his feet to extend drives and gain yards. Lee just wasn't getting it done, and Jefferson had the threat of running when the pocket collapsed. Just wondering, how did miles not see this? Without a mobile qb, we lose that game, yet he didn't learn from it.
