Get a fricking clue. Go look at the teams we beat and the teams we lost to.
I've posted the respective defensive stats for all 4 losses and the opposing teams defense that we beat from a running game and scoring defense perspective.AU and Wiskey were BOTH VERY SOLID i.e. Top 7 defenses including really difficult the run - better than the UF run defense for example.

that is a legit claim. miles had 4 teams that were natty material
2006, 2007, 2011, 2012.....and maybe 2016..but i will stick with 4 for sure. some argue 2005 also. they could be right. but again i give les lots of leeway. he still failed and underperformed. once saban's guys were gone he won 1 sec west title the last 8 years and some change.

Miles outcoached very few people but he did outrecruit them. I don't see Ole Miss hurting us much in recruiting under these circumstances. I am fine with Miles in Oxford.

according to Skip Saban really thought he had a great shot to win the NC in 2005 and that was why Miami offered him a Kings ransom and it still took him to the very end to except the job. Skip said he was changing his mind to the very end and it took the Dolphins owner to fly down on a Thursday( after Saban had declined the offer) & with his wife to get Sabans wife to agree. 05.06,07 was in the bag.
