I'm for any of these trades of 2nds for a volume 3 point shooter and a salary dump. We need to get one of Ellington, Belinelli, or Troy Daniels. Cousins should not be our best volume 3 point shooter. Ellington would be my first choice, but IIRC Miami made a few other salary shedding moves to make sure they would keep him, so he might not be available.

I'd do this one, I think. It really depends on what else is available. Thomas only has two years remaining (basically), and can be useful to some extent.

NOP get another lockdown defender on the wing creating Grit N Grind Grizz Lite.
CLE get Melo and shed Love + Frye's garbage D
NYK get 3 expirings and Powell who's got upside. Driving that tank for next year whilst Cavs throw in pick comp.
Dallas get heir to Dirk w/ a nice Smith-Matthews-Barnes-Love-Noel core for next 3 years.
