This could have something to do with the Patterson news:

Since they did that, there's no restrictions on where he can go. His lead recruiter at Ole Miss? Current LSU assistant Bill Armstrong.

I'm not saying he's going to be Kevin Durant, but you don't have to be physically strong to be a terrific basketball player. The combine stuff doesn't matter near as much as say football.
