We moved from a Tahoe to an Infiniti QX60 (crossover SUV). It has noticeably more leg room than the Tahoe and looks much smaller from the outside. The only room difference is the height in the cargo area in the back. It's actually deeper in the QX60, just a hair narrower (which isn't noticeable), and a good bit lower at the roof which has only been an issue once, and not much of an issue.

That a bit bigger than the XC60?
I don't expect suburban level of storage, but after growing up with them I realize that we never really used that space anyway.
