I pretty much plan to do that exact table, except use 2x4's in an "L" shape for the leg instead of 4x4's. Even down to the towel hanger 
. I'll probably cut the hole off to the left side though. And I'll be using pine for everything at the bottom and just paint it hunter green or something. Then cedar for the top.

Mine is a little more permanent.
