As has been stated, when the lawsuit wrapped up and RTIC had to discontinue their coolers and do a redesign, they dumped the old ones at really low prices. They have been changing their design and will be releasing the new coolers soon. FYI, they didn't change much, I think they have two drain plugs and a slightly different lid and that's it. And the price will still be half of yeti so continue to buy with confidence.

As to who "won" the lawsuit between them and yeti.....sure RTIC had to discontinue selling for a few months and pay yeti money. But think about this, they now have a large user base and have marketed the hell out of the coolers being the same but cheaper than yeti. When they start selling the new products, I bet demand picks up right where it left off. So who was the real winner here.....I'd say RTIC. I see lots of other companies trying to break into the premium cooler market: Kuer, frio, and some others I can't think of now. Most don't have near the amount of people that even know about them or marketing level that RTIC has.
