I think they tried and failed. Sure they participated in "fake news" articles, meme and the like, but actual hacking of databases, election machines and DNC officials, No.

There has been some completely bogus shite put out under the guise of "hacking", so what are you talking about?
The attempts on voting systems and officials were real. But neither seems to have worked unless you think Podesta's "hack" was from the Russians.

I think Russia did some stuff, trying to affect the election, but not for one second do I think they are the reason the shitiest candidate to ever run for President lost because of anything they did.

I'm sure they do have hackers who go at us, as China does and how we do to them as well. I think they did nothing of significance. China has the best hackers in the world who are all government funded.

It may well be 100% true but there has been zero evidence provided beyond the Crowdstrike assessment. And Assange's assertion that the DNC emails came from an inside source seems far more credible than an unverifiable claim from Ukrainian separatists who have been caught before in baldfaced lies. There may possibly be classified intel tying this conclusively to Russia but none of us have seen it and in the current leakgeist altmosphere that makes it seem an extreme longshot.
