What's the watchmakers name in Zachary? I'd like to know. Thanks

Steve Andrews. He's right next to the big Bank of Zachary. One of the few qualified guys left in the state to work on high end.

Since we're talking about watches... Where is the best place to sell a used Rolex. I inherited one that is just not my style, but I don't want to just give it away to some random pawn shop. It's not a really high end Rolex. I think its an oyster perpetual. Sorry for the Hijack.

Seiko makes some incredibly awesome watches

I picked up an automatic in London 15 years ago that has never missed a beat, have never seen one exactly like it in the US and it is twice as heavy as any US model I have ever held, paid around £500 and could not be happier with it.

H.Q. Milton There is a link on the website to sell your watch. Include a few pictures and they will get back with a price. Jacek Kozubek is one of the partners he will treat you right.

The Rolex Forum also has a for sale section.

I wear Eco drives. Won't spend a bunch (couple hundred) and they last a good while.

I have a few that allow for the band to be changed. So it can go from nylon to leather dress look in a few minutes.

He was formerly a master watchmaker for Rolex and Omega. They still send him stuff periodically. At least that's what he says. When you go in be prepared to spend at least an hour talking to him. He loves to talk.

Am I searching something wrong or all really paying $2k for watches I was looking at like $400-$500 max.

This is a pretty nice auto for less than $500, you could get a couple leather straps for it if you want to mix it up.

Interesting. Any chance he works on ETA movements? I'll have to give him a call.

As in Hugo Boss?

If so, it's a fashion watch, nothing more.

Get a Laco. They are fine German watches in your price range. Change bands according to situation. IMO you won't find anything more interesting. Check out all of their options.

Freaking love mine. $300 automatic that looks phenomenal on a NATO.

I get asked about it all the time when I wear mine.

Now there's one I've never heard of. Think I'll have to order one out of the Navy line.

Mine is the Valencia under Navy watches.

The whole face glows in the dark. And I mean bright.
