A new accuser is alleging sexual assault in a lawsuit filed against former Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.), The Chicago Tribune reported.

The accuser, known in the lawsuit as “Richard Doe,” reportedly claims that Hastert sodomized him in the 1970s. The victim was approximately 9 or 10 years old at the time, the Tribune adds.

I doubt anyone will be surprised by this. He's already in prison for covering up this exact behavior.

Oh so instead of "Former Speaker of The House Dennis Hastert Facing New Sexual Abuse Allegations" for your title, you chose to be less informative and politically inflammatory, needlessly. Damn dude, the story is shitty enough at face value, why do you have to go there?

It's pretty fricking amazing he got as far and high as 3rd in line to the Presidency while he fricked little boys on the reg.

I wonder if Denny's colleagues in Congress and the Bush White House that had a working relationship with him had any idea that he loved to diddle little boys?

Eww. Hope he's prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law if true.

This alone should make people question just how deep this stuff goes.

I would not be surprised if many knew yet did not want to rock the boat. Politicians are vermin and protect one another.

Kind of makes you wonder why Republicant's can't ever seem to stop Dems even when they have full control. Those sniveling rats are all on the same team protecting each other.

Liberals will be defending that kind of behavior within 10 years - mark my words.

Hastert was able to secure a posh position for his son at John and Tony Podesta's lobbying firm, PodestaMattoon.

Not even kidding.

Weren't they close friends?

I think pizzagate was a bad name and focal point. It should have always been pedogate.

I brought this up during the Billy Bush tapes

Not one Republican who denounced Trump and pulled their support of Trump, not one, denounced Dennis Hastert

Instead they circled the wagons around him

Very much so. There are some ideological differences....but 90% of it is the uniparty setting the two sides against each other.

Trump and Sanders were both turds in that punch bowl. They have been working overtime to sack both of them. They failed to stop Trump.

If true that's just sick. Sounds like that pizzagate is being brought back perv-by-perv.

I'm not educated on Pizzagate.

Most of the time the narrative around harmful facts and stories are intentionally hijacked. Maybe they were on to something. Maybe not. But I do suspect that Hastert is just one of many pedophile scum bags in Washington.

There was also a lot of whispers from the investigative body around the Penn State scandal that Sandusky was barely the tip of the iceberg. I believe that. No way these high profile assholes can get away with that kind of behavior without a network of other creeps helping them.

Senator Durbin claims he was shocked by the revelations and never would have suspected Hastert of such behavior.

Might be telling the truth and everyone thought he was normal, since that's usually how people get away with it for so long. Or maybe a Democrat making that statement is simply an effective cover.

More likely the former. Hastert is already disgraced and in very poor health so he has little to lose by outing others.

Exactly. They use pedophilia to control people. You can't rat on anyone or go against your masters wishes when they have this kind of blackmail material on you. It's just one way they keep people in line.
