Thanks. I thought that the Movie/TV board was doing a pretty good job as a surrogate home for book discussions. But thinking about it I bet there may be a lot of book lovers who don't frequent that board.

Echoing the greatness of this idea , my last 5 books/audibles have come from solid Recs from readers here. If anyone is inclined, I think a great start to this board would be to put together some megathreads for genres we love. And the OP could have some of the classic/genres defining recommendations in them as a good primer for people interested .
