I've read about it online and talked to their technicians about it. Not much is available from them in that regard because they're trying to push DirecTV as much as possible.

DTV picture quality is much better than Uverse
it had to be a setting with either your TV or receiver
I work in the business and there are huge changes coming to Uverse TV that i cant really speak about. As others have mentioned, they will be doing away with it eventually. They already are not producing any newer boxes
The DIRECTV new receiver comes out in 2 weeks and its sweet.
7 tuners, two 4K streams, 2TB hard drive, built in wireless bridge.
DTV has invested heavy in 4k and will be announcing soon a ton of NCAA and NFL football games in 4k for this season only on the DIRECTV platform.
