I've heard this but don't actually know if it's true. Do you have anywhere you can point me to? I have 1Gb fiber but didn't go with uverse tv because of this.

I've read about it online and talked to their technicians about it. Not much is available from them in that regard because they're trying to push DirecTV as much as possible.
