Of all of the relevant Saudi-U.S. issues in our country, this is the question to which Joe Public in Nebraska wants the answer.
Don't inquire about the multi-$billion arms deal that was just signed.
Don't ask about being united with Saudi Arabia against extremism and terrorism.
By all means, don't ask about Saudi Arabia's goal of becoming a manufacturing hub in the region, and what that means for the US.
Nope.
Use this as an opportunity to ask a question about a contrived investigation.
That's the news i want.

A more pertinent question for Rex would have been, "given that ExxonMobil is the largest foreign investor in Saudi Arabia, where do you see the stock going after this visit?"
