This is really fricking sad. I feel like this is one huge troll, but it's not. This is real fricking life in New Orleans.
The fiasco of last night
5 people shot and 2 killed last night while NOPD protected the monuments
The statues turning up in some city junk yard.
The past 24 hours has my anger level about off the charts.

All of what you said is accurate, but real estate prices are still going to be arbitrarily high and people aren't deterred from buying there.

Don't get me wrong, Houston has its problems but New Orleans makes Houston look like an angelic city. You don't see any of this stupid black rights bullshite on a daily basis. People protest things here, but its issues like Syria, North Korea, etc. Very rarely, in the 12 years I've been here, have I seen racism as big of an issue as it is every damn day in Louisiana. Louisiana continues to fall further and further into the shite hole that it already is stuck in. /rant
