Other than pitching and hitting, our baseball team is pretty good.

What a dearth of talent. We are TERRIBLE. No pitchers who know how to grind. No power hitters. We suck.

If last year was Mainieri's best coaching job this year is his worst. He can't get anything from this team. They have regressed!

I just love our new hitting strategy; go up and swing at everything no matter what!

They need to quit feeling sorry for themselves and just play ball. I don't see any give a damn at this point and that is scary.

Listening to Mainieri's radio show the other night, the guy just sounded like a loser making excuses.

I don't have any confidence in him to turn it around.

It seems like pitchers adjust to our hitters more so than our hitters adjust to pitchers. They never do anything differently the 2nd or 3rd time seeing a pitcher

While I'm not as emotional as you I do agree that we have seen enough of this team now to say they are just an average baseball team. Coaching has been bad all year long and the team seems to lack any emotion and never seem to grind.

They are only ranked high because of the name on their jerseys.

There is still time but I'm not seeing anything that gives me hope they can turn on the switch. I hope they prove me wrong.

They are playing so bad that they should lay cat litter in the batters box.

Team has no leadership - this includes cpm- he always looks like he is pouring like a kid

This team can't grind out wins - too many pretty boys -

Terrible approach at the plate
Pitching staff just doesn't have it

We do field good though

Yep. The pitching woes are what have me most mystified.

Is it still too early to panic? They told me after the weekend in Houston it was too early. They told me after the Florida series it was too early.

Can we finally all just come to grips with the fact that this team isn't really any good?

I was joking earlier this year but I think we could seriously be traveling somewhere for Regionals this year

What a downfall

To be fair, it was way too early to panic

Hold, hold, hold. After elimination, yes. Coming to a program near you.
