This reminds me of OJ. Is there really any doubt that she's responsible for killing her little girl after seeing what happened? I'm only on episode 1 of the documentary.

But she's hot so it's ok

I haven't watched the show, but from what I remember as a casual observer was that there was no doubt she was a terrible mother (likely contributing to the child's death) and that she disposed of the child's body, but there wasn't proof Beyond a reasonable doubt that she actually killed the child. (She probably did,)
The prosecutor should have included some lesser counts in the indictment related to child abuse, not reporting a crime, obstruction, etc. but they didn't want the jury to "settle" on those lesser charges. They went for murder and couldn't prove murder so they got her on nothing.

A statement by Jeff Ashton at the end of the third episode was the most telling about how she was found not guilty. During jury selection a large majority of people were absolutely convinced she was guilty, and were exempt from jury duty, so that the people that were picked were convinced that she was not guilty or nothing they could say would persuade them that she did it.

Watched all 3 episodes. Not much that was new. It was mostly a rehash of info already out there either via press or the trial.
Prosecution overcharged and didn't leave the jury any other other options. Bad move. She might otherwise still be behind bars which is where she belongs in my opinion.
I think George's theory may be closest to what happened. I also don't believe for a minute that he ever molested Casey. I think that was another one of her outright lies.
The most interesting part of the 3 shows, for me, was the fact that George and Cindy are together in spite of their differences of opinion on what happened. George thinks Casey over drugged the child. Cindy thinks some sort of accident occurred. George is done with Casey and doesn't speak to her, not that Casey would speak to him anyway. Cindy still speaks with her from time to time.
Wonder where their son is now and how he's dealt with all of this?
