Maybe Syria was a trial run for North Korea

That's my hope anyway - plus it was strategically very logical in regards to "muh Russians" narrative and negotiations with China. I feel better about my spot on the Trump train after taking Bill Mitchell's advice and just "moving to another car" for a while.

If we attack NK, they'll inflict a lot of damage on SK and Japan on their way down. That's why we don't do it.

This is my view. It was a message that needed to be sent. Not just to Assad but Russia, China, Iran, and NK.
It was also an appropriate response to what was an egregious attack on a civilian target with the worst kind of weapon. I have no particular interest in Assad being overthrown, but he needs to stop expanding the war.

You were off and on during the campaign and would bail when times got tough. Unlike yours truly here who never wavered and doesn't seem to get the credit I deserve for that.

Why Trump now wants to entangle the US in foreign wars is beyond me. He ran on a platform 180 degrees opposed to what he is now doing. Grosses me out.

Anyone who hopes we get in a shooting war with North Korea is fricking insane. And has zero skin in the game immediately. But you know what? The military is all volunteer...so unless you are too old and too fat (highly probable considering your hawkish nature) they will let you be on the front lines in any conflict with North Korea....
