My money is on Malachi.

Saints have showed continued steady interest in this local kid. John Curtis Product, had some good athletic numbers at pro day today.

Dupre's career at LSU was pretty underwhelming.

No thanks...

Would like any of the other ones though (except Leonard because of where we'd have to pick him if he's even there).

Malachi would be a good pick if someone can keep him motivated. Dude didn't give a frick in a couple games this season.

to be fair:
College #s
3 years OBJ: 143 catches, 2340 yards, 12 TDs

3 years Dupre: 98 catches, 1609 yards, 14 TDs
-- his FR year was pretty lackluster. Last 2 years were more solid.

84 catches, 1291 yards, 9 TDs

In the 6th? Sure but I'm not spending a pick in the first 3 rounds on this guy. Very underwhelming at LSU and played soft last year.

My best hope and combination of good fit would be Tre White at 32/42 or Kendall Beckwith in the 3rd. Both needs and both very good players.

I just don't think Dupre has put it all together yet.

If dupre can learn to be more aggressive when going for the ball he should do fine in the NFL

The Saints have 18 LSU players to choose from with 10 that are expected to be drafted.

Dupree deserves to go in the 3rd THIS year, but all signs point to him being a 1st round talent in a year or two. A little more coaching and maturity that can bring out his best and this guy will be a beast. He hurt himself with draft position leaving a year too early, but some NFL team is going to get rewarded for getting him later and sitting on him for a year or two
