Looked all over for the Hyperflex in my size. Great closeout deals, but hard to find in wide widths.

Hate to derail, but I've never worn golf shoes before, just tennis shoes. I don't want to spend over $100. Anything that would be water resistant for that price?

I don't have a wide foot and everything I tried on is narrow as frick. Bought the sketchers and absolutely love then. I don't play in the rain or hit out of water so I don't need them to be dry. For $70 I'll throw them away after this year and buy another pair

I bought a pair of Nike FI impact 2's last year for $120. Easily the most comfortable pair of golf shoes I've ever owned

How were these, and which ones did you get. I've been seeing the commercials and I am thinking about giving them a shot.

I noticed on Saturday that you only play from fairways and greens.

Great shoes, but they are going to push his $200 limit. Might be able to snag a pair right at that, but it would be close.

Not if you buy them on amazon.

I switched to the spikeless side about 2 years ago. Currently have Nike F1 Bermuda and they are the most comfortable and lightweight golf shoes I have owned.

And they are currently on sale

ETA: after a quick use of the google machine, a couple of places currently have them for $70

What's the difference between the ones that say they are BOA and the ones that aren't?

I like those. Might grab a pair of whichever's better.

The way you tie the shoe. BOA is a ratchet

I see. I don't think that ratchet would be comfortable.

The difference in price was like $40. The old lace method should be fine.

Do these keep your feet dry? That is the biggest criteria for me. When playing early in the morning with the dew on the grass, my feet are normally soaked by the fourth hole in my tennis shoes.

They have a lot of mesh.. So if you find yourself in wet rough and diving for balls near water hazards these may not be the best fit for you. I've never had an issue with just regular fairway dew, however.
