Border Wall Funding Delayed. GOP treats Trump like a child.

President Trump's funding request for a border wall will likely be put on hold, Senate Republican leaders signaled Tuesday.
Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), a senior member of the Appropriations Committee, announced at a leadership press conference that Trump's supplemental funding request will wait until later in the year.
He said the Senate and House leadership are very close to negotiating a bill to fund government for the rest of 2017.
Adding a supplemental spending bill requested by Trump to pay for military activities and a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border would complicate the talks and should be dealt with at a later date, Blunt added.
They are sticking it to him now. Art of the Deal?

this is going to F them right in the a$$, Trump will tell them to put in the money for the wall and the military or it will be dead on arrival, shut the government down if you want, it will be your head on the chopping block.

I have met (R) Blunt a few times and he is an arse. His son was one of the worst governors in my lifetime.
You can't believe the stuff that comes out of a Blunt's mouth. He has won the senate seat in Missouri and he doesn't even live in the state.
After his son left office he moved to Virginia.

They may see a profit motive but they also have some of the biggest bleeding hearts around too.
