That'll change quickly. No worries.

At least it's higher than Johnny Jones was.

I mean the SEC is stacked with good basketball coaches right now. The fact that Billy Kenendy is 13th when he won the COY award last season is more BS IMO.

Clay doesn't trust Alleva's decision making.

Why should he be any higher? The delusion is laughable. Please make a coherent argument to rank him ahead of anyone based on track record. You can't.

Keep reading. He also has Kevin Sumlin #3 for SEC football coaches. And he has won exactly nothing.

I know it's from before this season started but this article has Wade rated pretty high among up and comers.

Clay Travis serves no purpose but ESPN rating and liberal sports media hot takes.

That people thinking that it's a "joke" to rank him 14th when it's fair is just downright silly. Maybe you can disagree, but all of a sudden a guy who has no major conference coaching experience being ranked last is supposedly ridiculous. Take the purple and gold glasses off and realize this is an upside hire, but Wade has no real track record at this level. Even VCU was inherited in great shape.

I would guess the writer is coming from the same angle as you.

Plus, Wade has some building to do.

People knock Bleacher Report but that was a good article and they have Wade No.2. Looks like there are a number of good Basketball Coaches.

Exactly. Wade might be a great basketball mind, but building an SEC contender from scratch is a lot harder than building a SOCon contender. Even guys near the bottom like Billy and Andy Kennedy have made the tournament with their current team and generally been above .500

And your point? Who cares where someone RANKS a coach who hasn't coached a game yet! I don't get why some care?

Screw track records

His intro presser alone gave me several inches of solid wood. Thats all that matters at this point.

And this is what it comes down to with our fan base. He said the right things at his presser, and that's given us hopeless basketball fans some hope.
