That's what I figured. Thanks a bunch ... truly truly appreciate the help.

For once will let the hubby decide. I know that he won't necessarily be able to bring us there/pick us up but I know that he won't won't me driving there super early (ie dark) or super late.

One last question ... looking out of BR just because.

ECONOMY FAIR .. I understand that you don't get a seat assignment until after you check in with Delta (if we go that route) BUT does that mean you aren't guaranteed a seat?? I'm thinking YES.

Have you thought about doing two one-way tickets? Flying Lafayette-Orlando and then picking her up on Sunday night from New Orleans? This way you only have to drive to Nola one time instead of both?

One way laffy-orlando Price is $166 on Delta

On the way back, Southwest is $126 sunday night so grand total of $292. If your daughter isn't driving to the airport and parking, then this may be your best option
