I mean, it's definitely fun, and a great course for match play.
But part of it is the lack of history and/or a signature hole. I mean, I don't pass up the opportunity to play the course when I get it, but there are some really incredible golf courses out there.

Tee times moved up 2 hours because of storm front approaching ... two way ties are no longer decided by head/head, so there who of be a couple of playoff holes

It's consistently rated between 10-20 in Texas. I'd probably put Barton Creek Foothills ahead of it in the Austin area. I've never played Austin GC, which is pretty highly regarded.
Unfortunately, there are some terrific courses in Texas that will never see a pro tournament or public play. I saw a list a year or two ago where only 6 or 7 of the top 50 courses in Texas were public access. That's a pretty crazy number.

of course, no PGATL coverage this morning..and Phil is on the course.
Work had me covered up this year and I could not make it to Austin....really wishing I was there.
Wednesday and Thursday are the days to be at Austin Country Club for this event. wish they would move to a medal / match format.
