Where is there a better crawfish bisque in Lafayette? Or is that for old people who've lost their taste buds?
Actually.. don't bother answering that question because your statement pretty much disqualifies your judgment.

Meh, all of the more popular restaurants in Lafayette serve about the same quality crawfish bisque. I find none of them to be that great. If you want quality, you're going to have to find someone who can actually cook and it won't be at a restaurant. So yeah, going to Don's or Fezzos or any restaurant would be for a meal that is okay to the taste buds.

I really like Don's crawfish bisque. I don't care how old the other folks are in the restaurant. Is the rest of the food great? Probably not, but I stick with bisque or gumbo and fried claws or fried shrimp, both of which they do very well. I also love their hushpuppies. I pick up some pints of frozen bisque to take home on occasion with some hushpuppies and the salad with house dressing which is also very good.
I haven't been to Poor Boy's Riverside Inn in some years. Is it still pretty good for what it is? The whole flounder was good.
