The Spurs also have the best coach in the history of basketball.

The Pelicans have a bum

That's fine. But CP3 had Byron Scott and he still played brilliant basketball

You guys can all hope they get a new coach and that guy turns on this magical light for these players that clearly don't have 1/10th the ability mentally that they have physically. But I aint holding out hope. With IQ, leadership. etc. you either have it at this point or you dont

There's a laundry list of guys that were supposedly low IQ and/or shitty intangibles types...until they weren't.

Half the early 2000s Jailblazers, for example.

Just skip forward to this season. Eric Gordon is the 2nd best player on one of the best teams in the league. Something happen to him in the few months between New Orleans and Houston? Never in my life have I heard high IQ or intangibles used to describe his game.

Where you play and who you play with makes a massive impact.

Javale Mcgee...is a contributor on the best team in the league.

Then there are the Rondo types that were definitely held in check by landing in stable environments, but fell apart afterwards.

Also,
quote:

I don't see any intangibles, IQ, or leadership with any of these three
There's nothing darker. There's no path forward if thats really the case.
