Justin Rogers
I mean is he a product of Parkway's offense? Meaning is he a Harris 2.0? I watched his highlights and the vast majority of his throws were deep balls. How is his short passing game? Asking for a friend.

You do realize that TCU is closer to home for Rogers than LSU?
2 hours to Dallas 2 hours to get through Dallas and another hour to get to FW and the TCU campus.
Baton Rouge is closer by an hour IMHO.

Thats only true if its between 4 and 6 pm in dallas as i previously stated.
If its a good time of day you can fly through dallas. (I live in Irving)

I live in Rockwall, traffic is never good going west at any time.
I drive it everyday.
To give credit to your post, TCU does have the upper hand.

That may be true but if you are coming from Shreveport more than likely you stay on I-20 instead of trying to cut through Dallas like you would do coming from Rockwall. Traffic is horrible either way though.

Rockwall is pretty sweet by the way. I'm in Las Colinas.

Mac Brown said something to the effect of, The only worry he had when recruiting Texas was when an ivy league school came offering. If Harvard offers you. You really need to consider whats priority.

Yale offered as well...kid must have his head screwed on straight.

Yep.
15 more years of football if you're lucky. 60+ more years of living if you're lucky. Take the Ivy League.
ETA: and I am someone who would have done anything to play for LSU

What exactly is an offer to Harvard though? Ivy League schools don't have athletic scholarships.

From Harvard's website:
quote:
No. As an Ivy League institution, Harvard does not offer athletic or academic scholarships to students. However, Harvard does provide need-based financial aid to those students who demonstrate financial need.

There is a lot of loose talk by athletes who claim to have an "offer" from Harvard or Yale, etc. Quite often is an exaggeration arising out of expressions of interest, solicited by the athlete.
The trick is that the student must be accepted by the school for admission. That is a significant matter, because getting in is no easy task.

If I were a recruit and had a full-ride to Harvard, I wouldn't even think twice about it.

The point is that there is no such thing as a full ride to Harvard.

If I got to choose between Harvard and any of those schools, it's be Harvard in a heartbeat.
Posted on 3/2/17 at 10:00 am to lsuhunt555
And you'd be paying for it because they dont offer scholarships

If he was my son it would be Harvard all day. Regardless of football, injury, playing time, etc. he would be set for life with the connections, education and network.
