Good laptop backpack for a business professional?

Well, I did have a recommendation until you said the part about college kids lol.

I recently bought this one. I like it so far.

If you're carrying a backpack at all, you're gonna look somewhat like a college kid. Which is better than looking like a dorky bizness man with a Samsonite.

Like all Pelican stuff, I'm sure it's great at what it does, but it just looks about 20% "over done." Unless you're packing it with gold bars, a 25L backpack doesn't need a handle that over-engineered.

Tumi alpha 2 backpack if you don't mind spending a little $$. Looks as professional as a backpack can, which isn't very imo.

I'd go with a briefcase

I have this. You can tuck the straps in and carry it like a briefcase if you don't want the full backpack look.
