Unfortunately golf is out. Any suggestions?

Does this include all forms of golf like mini golf or disc golf?

It wouldn't include Top Golf if New Orleans were able to get their shite together and secure a facility.

Hearing the old Times-Picayune building could be a possibility for Top Golf.

Here's what's going to happen chief.
You're going to plan some gay activity or even worse the women will plan it for you. This is all a rouse to keep you from drinking too heavily the night before.
You WILL drink too much. No one will wake up in time. Y'all wil fight over where to eat lunch. By the time you eat after fighting, it'll be time to get dressed. Therefore:

TLDR
frick making plans. Go to a bar, drink, and have a good time.

Damn I thought at minimum running a half marathon was in reach. Am I overthinking it?

I'm just thinking it would be good to have something for us to do to kill time. Not trying to go all out here.

I should add that we're going to get ready at my parents' house in the FQ and will have food there for a later lunch.

The day of the wedding?

Find a hotel pool in the quarter and hang out there.

We got so wrecked after the rehearsal dinner, I just ate lunch in the hotel courtyard alone and tried not to throw up until it was time get dressed. But I'm odd, so don't follow my lead.

Would going to Harrahs and having a poker table for the group be any less relaxing?

Sure. That would be cool if that's your thing.

Wake up, casual brunch/lunch, find somewhere to enjoy a few drinks and then go get dressed.

Do not make plans to do something you have to coordinate.

You will be happier this way

Honestly, the amount of people that have said similar things have made me lean towards just making a loose plan for anyone interested and calling it a day.

Maybe poker at Harrahs or just grabbing beers somewhere. Would have liked to do a beer tour or something but that seems like a lot to coordinate. Especially with a lot of people who have never experienced NOLA and will likely go too hard after the rehearsal dinner the night before.
