There has to be a "cancer" on this Basketball team

These guys play so bad there has to be more to the problem than just Johnny Jones. These guys play really bad. no real movement....screens that a 6th grader can avoid. Poor spacing, bad shot selection and an absence of defense....not bad defense....an absence of defense.

We need a complete overhaul. Sad truth. I like some of the players but coaching staff needs a total change.

It would be easier to identify if there was any real coaching. When the whole team doesn't have any direction the you could mistakenly think any player is the problem. Last year people accused Ben Simmons and Tim Quarterman.

The sad thing is, that the team appears to be playing hard, they just don't seem to have any idea what they are supposed to be doing.
We have got to be setting some kind of record for most 3 pointers given up and the vast majority are uncontested. If it's not a 3 pointer, they are making a dunk or layup because we don't get back on defense.
Eddlestone is by far the most fundamentally sound player on the team. He is the only player on the team that actually blocks out on defense.

We had a really solid starting 5 to start the year. Mays, Sampson, Blakeney, Victor and Reath is a quality lineup. We had no depth in the post because of poor recruiting. ER3 might be the worst college big man I've ever seen. Bridgewater should be playing football. And Epps is a one trick pony.
I don't know what happened this year. But this team was talented enough to win. Frankly, we were every bit as talented as every other team in the West until Victor got kicked off the team.

Yes. The cancer is "not good at all" the cause is JJ. In order to cure it you have to cut out the cause. JJ must go and soon.

Sorry, but i disagree, it's all on Jones, Hell he couldn't really hit free throws mind you when he played at LSU. It's all on him, never really did anything at NTSU and certainly has done nothing here.

They looked like a team early on, and competed (most nights), but after the dismissal of Victor they don't have the talent to match up against at least 12 of the other 13 SEC teams
