Much like the year a silent (for the most part) film won. I can't remember the name. But again, it was a give me a break moment. Just a film made to try and appeal to Oscar voters.

It's not, but what film in the last 10 years has been? Some like "Million Dollar Baby" were just silly.
Hollywood just doesn't make classic blockbusters anymore. They are risky and they can make more money in superhero movies, so they do.
