An investigation is something that cant be done immediately at the snap of the fingers. You cant just start blaming people for illegal activity without facts to back it up.

What the frick are you even babbling about? The Russian ambassador' communications are always monitored. Obama didn't sign an EO authorizing spying on Trump's team.
If anyone (U.S. citizen or not) calls the Russian ambassador, that communication is monitored.

Flynn's conversation wasn't intercepted because of someone monitoring Flynn's devices.
But I'm all for leaks and the improper handling and release of information being a part of any comprehensive investigation.
