OT thread says that the overtopping has gone from 1' to 2", implying that the worst may be over and the volume is decreasing.
Then again there is also a gigantic hole in the aux spillway now...

I had thought they expected the flow to decrease today. Problem is they are expecting 4 inches this week. It is crazy the amount of rain northern cali has gotten.

Should they have to ask for help? Maybe Trump should let them wait for a few days while he finishes his vacation like the last Republicans President when a dam broke.

If Trump farts FOX starts hollering "breaking news! breaking news!" 100,000 people facing a dam break and they are rerunning Chris Wallace's show.

Is the dam a Republican or Democrat?

Dams are engineering feats. How do you do maintenance on a dam with 900 feet of water pushing on it and a lake held back behind it?
Glad they are evacuating and especially, letting water out.. Next week there will be more rain. Wed thru sunday next week.
I spent some time on internet after the thread earlier. The town of oroville is immediately down stream.
