Just watched a few minutes of their show. The evening news that is. Would not call him president. Funny.

It's almost as if they question his authenticity or validity...how shocking a concept.

I recall a lot of "Mr. Obamas" being thrown around the past 8 years and it always made me cringe. It's petty for either side.

Since the mid-1970s it has been NPR's policy to refer to the president as "Mr." instead of "President" on second reference. Below is an explanatory column slightly updated from 2009. This is nothing new mini media outlets use the term Mr. interchangeably with President. Much ado about nothing .
