Austin Thomas salary - F King meddling in FB program

Why does Austin Thomas who probably does more than anyone on the FB staff make the least amount? Also supposedly F King is putting caps on assistant salaries. If this is true someone needs to step up and tell him to stay out of TAF business

He's able to do more recruiting because that's his job. Just as it's the primary job for the coaches to coach during the season, then off season they go recruit. If Austin Thomas was worth that much more, he'd be getting paid that much more right now. That's how this works.

Last I heard, the Athletic Department was part of LSU and "F King" is Chancellor of LSU so he should have a hand in setting limits on the pool for assistant salaries.

Have you compared salaries for others in his role?
Do you think a janitor who does more "work" than an engineer should get paid more?
Do you think AT backtracked across the country to LSU did so because he was going to accept an unfair salary???
