If you're a falcon fan, is this considered the absolute most gut wrenching loss in the history of sports? On the biggest stage. About to finally win your franchise's first super bowl against the "best franchise" and "best qb" of all time. Up by 25 in the third..........Only to lose in the first overtime game in super bowl history. Watching tom Brady and bill raise that trophy after all the cheating accusations and deflategate etc etc

Man

Who dat :)

yep. falcon fans should never ever talk shite again. Not to mention they let 80 year old elway beat them last time after they talked so much shite and danced around flapping their arms like infantile retards.

For me it was in the MVC Semi's

Deon Jackson hits a turn around with wrong hand going wrong way 3 to win it as time expires

Video of the shot

I just was like WTF while on the bench. We had that game and knew we were going to the finals, that shot knocked us out the NCAA Tournament and sent us to NIT to play NC State.

It made it worse, as they were in scramble mode as they were turning the ball over.

It is definitely up there with last years NBA finals. That had to be a painful loss for the warriors.

At least top 3. I can't imagine the feeling if my team was in that position and completely blew it.

I'd think the Bills' 4th Super Bowl loss would probably be the most painful.

Game 6 in the '86 series was pretty gut wrenching, they had put Congratulations Red Sox World Series champs on the scoreboard

I think this loss is extra painful simply bc the city of Atlanta and Falcons haven't won shite in so long.

GS was bad last year but is it really painful when you just came off winning a title?

yeah I loathe Falcon fans but man that was a dick punch.

1/9/12 was awful but had basically the entire game to come to terms with that failure.

95% probability and just needed 1 score of any kind in the end to just hold on.....and bagel. I thought after the Julio catch it was just Atlanta's night and the game was over.

I don't feel like jumping on bc as a 16 yr transplant I am one of those Saints fans who like the Falcons when they don't play the Saints.

But these ATL sports radio guys can be in their feelings all day! All week long instead of talking about New England, try kept talking about the Saints and how a win would make them historically better than Brees & the Saints.

So no salt for the fans, but salt all year long for the radio guys!

Spurs up 5 vs. Miami with 28.5 seconds to go in game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals has to be up there.

This loss has been very painful to a lot of people:

Falcons fans
Trump haters
Fans of any other QB besides Brady
