I hear all the exotic fruits you can eat is amazing too.
Very good. Sugar apples, Logans, rambutans, mangosteen. All fresh from the market. One type of mangos had a fragrant citrus flavor. Of course, coconuts where everywhere. Two of the fruits(breast milk fruit and rose apple) that I was looking forward to wasn't in season.

Very nice. I visited Saigon, Hanoi and ha long bay in 2014. I liked the food but didn't seem to find anything like you had. Mainly had fried things, bun, some soups, cold banh mis.

To be honest, there was so much flavor in the sandwich I did not focus on the bread. When I go back, I will try the bread plain and let you know.

This is Bun Bo Hue. A spicer version of many broth noodle bowls. It has pig feet and yes, that dark cube is blood cake.
I'm willing to try many different types of food in my life, but WTF does blood cake taste like?

I doubt that I will ever get there, so I am happy when others post food pics. Thanks.
Have any idea how northern pho differs from southern?

I ate street food while in Europe (Rome, Athens, London, Paris, Amsterdam) with minor gastrointestinal distress. I know those are all first world cities (although Athens was pretty gross), was there any concern about stomach problems eating that stuff? Looks good, albeit risky.

Actually didn't take many pics on the trip. I'm planning to take another trip soon. I'll take as many as I can since you guys like it so much.

Northern style has flatter thicker noodle than southern style. Broth is heartier and richer. However, they do no put that much basil and sprouts in the pho. Instead of siracha, they use some kind of grounded chili paste.

I speak it. But these people will post signs about whatever dishes they're selling if it's eaten indoor. If outdoor, you can see what they are selling just walking by and observing.
