I mean I thought it was pretty obvious by his high school coaching in the dome that he was certainly no Frank Wilson. Still, I thought he was our blatant hire for recruiting purposes only. I'm not sure Louisiana has been raided this badly in years.
At this rate bring Michael Smith home from Arkansas. Pretty sure he's coached running backs too, but not positive

I give no shits about not having the best stable of RBS. Canada like Aranda has shown he can scheme around players. I'm ready to air it the f*ck out.

Exactly. 100% a recruiting hire which was praised.
This has been a terrible year for keeping in-state guys home. Just terrible.
We will probably lose 7 of the top 12 in the 24/7 composite state rankings.

I'm going to give O his fair shot, but assuming shite hits the fan with this class, was landing the #8-11 recruiting class honestly worth hiring O?
I also want to know what O and Ponamsky promised Alleva regarding recruiting. No way he didn't sell a top 5 class

Juluke was brought in to mostly be our primary connection to NOLA.

RB coach is probably the easiest job in coaching, so you better be one hell of a recruiter otherwise you're expendable. Juluke is starting to look expendable.

Any future issues with LSU are more likely to come from the top, than Juluke ever being tied to anything.

Bob you're trippin man. Etienne will be a good college runningback. I saw you said if they aren't elite then we shouldn't take them. That's not a smart thing to go by in recruiting at all. Morris Claiborne was a 3 star nobody. I'm sure you would have said we shouldn't have offered him because he isn't elite huh? You fill your spots no matter what when it comes down to the end. We need Etienne badly.

So in a year in which you fired your head coach you are going to question the coaching hire because he didn't land a top 5 class? Hypothetically of course.
Name me a coaching transition that resulted in a top 5 recruiting class this millennium?
