It was them Bolsheviks! The powers that be will always oppose revolution. [Unless you are the Louis XIV French and you want revenge on the Brits.]
We were there, just thought we'd pay a visit.

Oswald was a Soviet agent. I'm still sore about them assassinating JFK.

Commissioned by LBJ and the banks.
The banks, CIA and LBJ wanted JFK dead.

Oswald was not at the School Book Depository that day at the behest of the Soviets.

Wolfhounds
quote:
In 1918 during World War I, a regiment from the 27th Infantry was sent on a reconnaissance operation along the Trans-Siberian Railway. At that time, 15,000 German and Austrian prisoners of war, along with Bolsheviks headquartered in the Ussuri Valley, threatened Vladivostok. Despite the frigid temperatures and difficult ground, the regiment marched over 1,000 miles in pursuit of the retreating Bolsheviks, resulting in the capture of Blagoveschensk. The Russians, impressed with American drive, nicknamed the 27th Infantry the "Wolfhounds".
Kolchak II, circa 1939
The first Wolfhounds mascot, a pure bred Russian Wolfhound, was presented to the regiment in 1929. He was named after Admiral Aleksandr Vasilyevich Kolchak, who fought the Bolsheviks during the regiment's stay in Siberia.
Elaborate ceremonies marked Kolchak I's adoption as mascot of the Twenty-Seventh Infantry. The organization was formed on the regimental drill field, and after a brief address by Colonel William E. Hunt announcing the acquisition of the dog, Chaplain Oscar W. Reynolds made a short talk on the significance of mascots. Sergeant John Martin (who served with the regiment in both the Philippines and Siberia) took charge of Kolchak and promised to see that he attended all appropriate gatherings of the regiment.
Paging Wolfhound 45...paging Wolfhound 45...

Russian is great people of history and science. Cultures of Russia and USA are perfect for lasting friendships under leadership of President Trump and Vladimir Putin.

Because Bolsheviks had taken control of the country. If I were an American living in 1919 and Communists had taken control of Washington DC, I would have expected the same courtesy.

Well one of them is still alive. Maybe they'll let him out and let him finish with a bang, bang, bang.

About 10-15 years ago I listened to JFK oval office tapes from 11/1/63 where he tells McNamara -- Tell Diem there is no carrot and stick. We are leaving Viet Nam 100%. 1,000 guys now, and everyone after the '64 elections.
I tried recently to google that up again and couldn't find it.
On December 1, '63 those withdrawal orders were rescinded.

Complete bullshite.
JFK caused the cuban missile crisis.
He put Jupiter missiles in Turkey and Italy. These were not defensive missiles and were placed there so that the US had strike capability against Russian Silos.
That and the Bay of Pigs invasion forced Russia's hand.
Then Kennedy publicly rose tensions more by publicly announcing the cuban missile threat and took the US and our allies to Defcon 2.
His dumb arse brother Robert suggested we should use one of our own subs to sink on of our own ships and blame it on the Russians.
It is even ludicrous to suggest that the missiles posed an offensive threat against the US because the Russians had long had nuclear submarines off the cost of the US that could have provided first strike capability at any time.
The sub threat remained even after the cuban missile crisis.
Kennedy's actions were reckless because he didn't have a clue what he was doing.
In the end Russia did not back down as we like to report. What actually happened was Kennedy finally decided to give Kruschev an assurance that the US would not attempt another invasion of Cuba which was all Russia wanted anyway.

This is joke, right? Kennedy had no problem with expanding the Nuclear Triad and all that.
He did want the CIA modified, changed, defanged, something. That may have gotten him killed.
Executive Action (film)
Executive Action is a 1973 film about the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, written by Dalton Trumbo, Mark Lane, and Donald Freed, and directed by David Miller. Miller had previously worked with Trumbo on his film Lonely Are the Brave (1962). It stars Burt Lancaster and, in his final film, Robert Ryan.
Plot[edit]
A narrator states that when President Lyndon Johnson was asked about the Kennedy Assassination and the Warren Commission report, he said he doubted the findings of the Commission. The narration ends with the mention that the segment did not run on television and was cut from a program about Johnson, at his own request.
At a gathering in June 1963, shadowy industrial, political and former US intelligence figures discuss their growing dissatisfaction with the Kennedy administration. In the plush surroundings of lead conspirator Robert Foster (Robert Ryan), he and the others try to persuade Harold Ferguson (Will Geer), a powerful oil magnate dressed in white, to back their plans for an assassination of Kennedy. He remains unconvinced, saying, "I don't like such schemes. They're only tolerable when necessary, and only permissible when they work." James Farrington (Burt Lancaster), a black ops specialist, is also among the group: He shows Ferguson and others that a careful assassination of a U.S. President can be done under certain conditions, and refers to the murders of Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, and William McKinley as examples, and includes assassination attempts of others including Roosevelt in 1933. He calls this "executive action".
Executive Action
This was the crew's movie one night on the USS Simon Lake in 1975 or so. After it was over no one said a word.
