Really? Well the warmth of recent has weather peeps listing the potential record highs we could record. As a matter of fact one site had the records for the next 7 days...each day had a similar record temp. Only one problem for those of you who believe in global warming...each year was totally random and sporadic and mostly from the 1920's to the 1940's...should tell anyone with at least two digits worth of IQ to rub together something.

And before 450 years ago??

*most of those instances happened on isolated environments...not to be confused with a general loss of weak species*

You know what is really telling about the political talk board? That people like you think that personally attacking people is the same thing as presenting a well thought out argument. This is such a cop out response. Your position is not above defense and presenting an explanation, and you would know that if your IQ was above room temperature. See what I did there?

GMO foods = bad...fracking = earthquakes/cancer...organic food = healthier...green energy = viable alternatives...fossil fuels = bad.....on and on and on.

Seriously...you didn't think there were any??

No, personally attacking someone is being specific. I made a generic statement. Now YOU got personal in your hasty retort...so yes I see what you did there.

Edit: Beat me to it Dale, good catch

Lots of anti-vaccine folks on the far far left.

Though I have a feeling with Trump being anti-vaccine it's going to make that issue partisan as well.

Yeah but, due to the proven theory of evolution, aren't they being replaced by new species?

Fair.

fracking = earthquakes/cancer.

There are ties to the oil industry and cancer. That is a fact.

organic food = healthier

This isn't a political issue. It's a trendy marketing scheme.

quote:

green energy = viable alternatives...fossil fuels = bad

And with this issue you roll up the issue in the OP as dismissing it as being anti-intellectual despite it being the dominant opinion of the intellectual community. That's cute.

Having an open, civil, and candid discussion is beyond you people. You argue like a bunch of petty morons. How do you ever expect to accomplish anything and further any sort of honest discussion when you can't help but insult people just for asking a completely simple and straight forward question? Questions are how the acquisition of knowledge works. All of you people are hardly worth the time. I've been paying too much attention to this place again lately. You people have a completely warped outlook and thrive on attacking, dividing, and destroying.

That's a fairly broad accusation.

How many times has here been a record low and a record high in the same week, pig fricker? (Hint: it hasn't happened)

Green "energy" has been a failure every single place it has been tried. It. Doesn't. Work.

There have been 5 ice ages in the earths history......... this means 4 have come and gone and think we are in the 5th. What caused the other 4 to go since man didn't exist then? Could it be a natural cycle of the earth to warm and cool?

And stop with the broad generalizations, that's a sign of intellectual weakness.

Why are you so worried about climate change?

One thing we do know about climate change is it's very slow moving. Furthermore it's seems to be helping human kind more than hurting in terms of helping provide food for people. The hurtful aspects of CC (if they exist) are so slow we have a lot of time to adjust. Humans are pretty good at preparing for catastrophic events through planning and engineering when those events are defined.
