There is nothing they can do to stick it better to Obama.

Wait, wait.

So, in the dead of night Republicans chose to add $9+ Trillion to the debt -and- being ripping health insurance from >20M people?

What exactly does your party stand for again? Aside from tax breaks for the 1%, of course.

Good job.

They are losing their minds and there probably won't be as generous reimbursements for psychotherapy as before. What WILL they do?

IMHO, there should be a replacement ready to go upon repeal.

Am I missing something? Isn't repeal with no replacement going to cause problems?

No replacement means 2018 returns pelosi to power.

It would cause huge problems. This was a symbolic move by Republicans. Seems like a huge FU to Obama for going crazy with the EO pen over the past thirty days.

I'd be willing to bet there will be a replacement when the actual repeal happens. I just hope they take their time and do it right. If this gets screwed up, majority will return to the Dems in two years.

You're better than this.

Cleaning up Bush's wars and recession aren't really things Obama could control.

he didn't have to massively increase our debt dealing with these issues (assuming they existed as you laid out)

the wars were about $1T (which also was largely spent prior to obama). that's on Bush (and terrible)

what about the rest of it? look at this chart (i know you love charts)

Someone had to clean up the previous 8 years of Clinton's failed foreign policy and general incompetence.

Either way, it's laughable that you attribute a nearly $10 trillion increase of our debt to "cleaning up war and recession." It's outright ignorant that you place that solely at Bush's feet.

I agree, he should have raised taxes on the rich.

Most of the rest of it comes from the recession. And the wars were about $2.7T, not 1.

And invading Iraq was clearly the best and most efficient way to do that.

It's no longer disappointing that you whine about the debt for Obama, but embrace it for Bush and Trump.

what rate/type of taxation do you believe would be required to offset $9T in spending?

ummm, rich people suck and get all their money from their scumbag parents and by denying apartments to black people.

there. that should cover that spending. i mean aren't they all multi-trillionaires?

Obama certainly did a bang up job there.

I don't embrace it for anyone. You know nothing about my views if you believe that. I'm simply pointing out your stupidity for leveraging these complaints against those you oppose without doing the same for those you support. They all share a portion of the blame for this mess.

Apples and Oranges. Obama doubled the debt, not Bush and Clinton.
