If they follow the "Old Wounds" story, Kenobi brutally beats down Maul, damaging his legs amd severing his arm, but he can't bring himself to deliver the killing blow. Owen Lars is the one who kills him by shooting him in the head.

Watch Episode 3 deleted scenes for that.

Explain that to me cause I have no idea what you are talking about

ETA: nvm I'd see it involves the whole Marth coming back to life storyline that I've always thought was ridiculous

You mean where he survived on sheer hate and force of will for 10 years and it drove him insane? So did I until I saw the episodes that showed it.

When does this Rebels series finish?

I binge watched Clone Wars and want to binge this as well.

No idea. The series started (timeline-wise) 5 years before A New Hope. Ezra Bridger and Luke Skywalker are the same age.

I hope the next series focuses on the big three in the years between ROTJ and TFA.

Or at least the events leading up to the Battle of Jakku.

It was my understanding that this would be the last season and that it leads directly into Rogue One.

This is kind of already addressed in the Aftermath trilogy. The answer is that they're not doing much of anything. I think Luke is pretty much doing exactly what he was doing in TFA and so far as I am aware, he is still doing that with Ben Solo during the Bloodlines novel.

Is this one better than clone wars? Or are they about the same?

So far Clone Wars subject material is far more extensive. I think Rebels has another season in it, so 4 is not as much as 6. But since season 2, rebels has been pretty good. I just wish they wouldn't spend so much time on shitty little missions. But it seems the little shitty missions, are pivotal to ANH and Rogue 1.

I'm not crazy about the Jedi existing tbh. Kind of takes away from Luke's importance in the trilogy to come IMO. I haven't seen it, but I discovered there were existing Jedi in the series.

in which one? rebels? yeah, there are some that somehow escaped from order 66. just a couple so far. But some that appear to be Jedi are defectors, or force users.

So far there's only three Jedi that have appeared or been mentioned on Rebels: Kanan Jarrus, Yoda, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Ahsoka Tano left the Jedi Order before Order 66. Ezra is still learning, and all of the others are dead.

The two new episodes with Saw on Geonosis were pretty good. I like how they incorporated Whitaker's weird eye into Saw's character on Rebels.

Also, for those that watched, did you catch the line making fun of Anakin in episode 2? When the sand jams the guns on the Ghost, Sabine says "I hate sand. It gets everywhere."

I wanted to bump this thread. What's everyones thoughts on the last few episodes. The most recent one was really good, and had a huge reveal. The Kenobi/Maul confrontation is coming.

Also, Season 4 is confirmed. So we will either get an Ahsoka status either at the end of this season or for sure during season 4.

Boba Fett wasn't a mandelorian. He just killed one and stole his armor.
