OLED is not the best technology for 4K HDR content. The panel doesn't get bright enough for the colors it needs to produce. I'd buy the Samsung in a heartbeat over the LG. Samsung is coming out with QLED next year if they can still source panels.

Ok after looking going to roll with the UN65KS8000 for my living room. I enjoyed the past Samsungs I have had and dont think its worth the extra 1200 for OLED. Thanks for the help
Now trying to find TVs for my bedrooms. Looking at the UN40KU6300. Seems as a decent tv, but would there be something comparable for a bedroom tv to get more bang for my buck being a tad cheaper? TIA

I assume Samsung is still debuting a QLED panel at CES next week? They have 3 new TV's there to debut. Hoping so.
