You're diagnosed with an inoperable and terminal cancer.

You tell your family, but since you haven't spoken to them in years they do not care or come to your aid.

You have no friends to call anymore either.

You slowly rot away in a hospital and eventually hospice without a single visitor, and succumb 18 months after diagnosis.

The general consensus is that the audio that is out there is fake. It's been debunked by Reddit and others. Most of the reputable gore sights do not even have it (the alleged audio). I am fairly certain, if the tape was real, it would be on those sites.
Yeah, the only people who could make it public don't seem likely to.

I remember Werner Herzog listening to it in front of them and telling them never to listen to it. I really have no desire to hear Tim and his gf's last, horrible moments.

Anyway that involves being trapped in something that you can't get out of, whether suffocating or fire or slow water filling up.

IMO you are part of the way there. I would think that being trapped in something that you can't get out of but would add that it needs to be small enough that you can't move, are cramped, like being in a fetal position and then being left to die without any further action taken to speed it along. And no burial or any other circumstance that might lead to suffocation.

I posted earlier and said fire or drown. Honestly when my grandfather died he died from lung cancer. I remember I was 12 (2000) and watching him was horrible. One day he was fine then he just shutdown. His last final hours was him drowning on his own fluids in his lungs. Very sad watching a soulless body hurting like that

An old Indian (mostly Apache) torture death was pretty brutal.

They would tie the victim to a stake, cover them in honey from head to toe, and then shoving the stake as far down as they could into a massive ant bed.

Nope nope nope nope.

Though there are those who commit such horrendous acts it makes me wish this was a legal means of execution.

Becoming paralyzed by slipping while getting out of the tub and being eaten alive by a hungry Tanden and his huge orange teeth after you've been unable to put out his food for a couple of days.

The exquisite pain of Tanden plunging his teeth into the tender flesh of your right cheek just below your eye on his first bite would be unbearable.

Hands down the worst way to die.

When I was in HS I would help out part time on a guy's farm. He died in a nursing home last week. No close relatives, pretty much alone in the world. He had dementia, the angry, paranoid kind. His nearest next of kin was a stepneice who wasn't really close to him. He used to be fairly wealthy, but he basically died a pauper. Most of what he had went for his care, and the state will put a lien on what's left as medicaid reimbursement.

That's a pretty bad way to go IYAM.

This one hits three highlights: A train crash in an Alabama Bayou in 1993. Train cars went off the rails, sunk in water then mud, and then exploded. pick your death: Impact from a crash, drowning or fire. 47 deaths.

If you made it out, I wonder how you fared against snakes and gators...

Alone in a nursing home with no friends or family. That would be the worst way to die.

This. Closely followed by being buried alive and suffocating.

Being burned to death or drowning. Those two are obvious choices though.

I don't understand why anyone thinks drowning could be as bad as burning. Take a cig lighter to your finger for 5 seconds. Or touch the element of an oven. Imagine that feeling over your body and not being able to stop it.
