Worst way to die?

My daughter and I were discussing this on our way home this evening. While I generally don't fear death, I greatly fear being mauled to death by a bear.
She went with alligator. I told her I thought I could get away from an alligator. But a grizzly bear? You're not going anywhere, chief. Just sit still while I kill you slowly and painfully.

I read that drowning is pretty quick. My BIL drowned 25 years ago. I hope it was quick.
ETA: Cats instinctively kill by biting the throat of their prey, thus it's usually over quickly. Bears don't kill that way. They might sit on you and gnaw your leg off while you remain fully conscious.

A long fall. You know the end result. Falling into a crevasse and slowly freezing to death also. I read a lot about mountain climbing. Lol

To me, there is no way drowning could compete with burning alive. Burning alive or being eaten alive would be the worst way to go.

Anyway that involves being trapped in something that you can't get out of, whether suffocating or fire or slow water filling up.

Most people say fire or drowning. Usually those happen pretty quickly. Same with beheadings. Certainly there are more morbid and painful ways to die. Slow slicing comes to mind first. Look that up. Then there are the people in Third World countries where lynch mobs beat the ever living pulp out of somebody, drag them through the town, and put a tire around their neck and burn the person. . I can't think of the word right now. Ringing or something like that. There are videos of those out there. There is also a video of a person being dismembered while alive. Of course there are the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs who killed a homeless man and videoed the whole thing. You can Google that as well. People have also been killed and videoed while being slowly lowered into a tub of acid. That happens more with the Mexican drug cartels. Then there are stories and even videos of all kinds of industrial accidents, one mentioned above where someone was drug through some sort of press or grinder or something like that .
